L-Glutamine In Your Body
L-Glutamine is 3 - 4 times more concentrated in the blood than any other amino acid and is metabolised in virtually every tissue in the body. Levels in the order of 100,000 mg are present in the average healthy person. It is a non essential amino acid and is the most abundant free amino acid in muscle cells.
The 20 amino acids are the building blocks of protein. There are 12 amino acids that can be made by the body. These are referred to as non-essential amino acids. The other 8 are known as essential amino acids as they must be supplied in the diet.
Protein makes up the structure of all cells and tissues in the body, including muscle tissue, internal organs, tendons, skin, hair and nails.
1- 3 capsules 3 times per day between meals or as recommended by your health-care provider. We recommend this be taken in conjunction with vitamin B6, manganese and trace minerals which may ideally be obtained from Golden Minerals.
Those prone to mania need to be careful with high doses of Glutamine for it can trigger mania, as can any antidepressant substance.
Not to be taken with active liver or kidney failure.
